Custom Order Tiny Shoe Boxes

I finished my custom order yesterday for Surie in Canada. I`m so excited to have finished this as its my first international sale!
I`m really trying to work hard to make a little business for myself, but in the craft world there is such a lot of competition.

I`ve be looking at craft fairs as a way of boosting business a bit further but have to build my stock a bit more, and get some business cards and flyers done too.

Tiny Baby Shoe Box and other cards....

Here is one of my latest creations.... The Tiny Baby Shoe Box.... I created this a cute keepsake or baby shower favour. When I saw the card in the craft shop I knew it would be perfect for making into these little boxes.

The tiny shoe was created and designed by me using a template I also created. I used a pinky/peachy pearlised card embossed with tiny butterflies to create the shoe. I made the tiny polymer clay roses to sit on the front of the shoes then added a pink gingham ribbon bow to finish.

I`ve just finished a custom order for 6 of the boxes - 3 in mint green like the one in the picture and 3 in baby pink with co ordinating ribbon.

Next is my butterfly card made for a friends birthday. I cut out the butterfly shape in pink felt and sewed pearl pink sequins around the edge. I created the butterfly body out of tiny coloured beads and wire. I`d also like to show you my corset card. I really enjoy making these using Kate Knight papers in pink/black/white and beige colours.

Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning!!!!

Hello everyone, Im back, haven`t posted for quite a while cos I have been really busy.
Anyway I wanted to mention Macmillan Cancer Supports flagship event- "Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning - 26th September 2008." Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and maybe even a yummy cupcake and support a great charity!
Last year over 50,000 people held a coffee morning and raised 7.5 million.
It's as easy as putting the kettle on!
Simply get friends, family or colleagues together. At home, at work, at school, at a parent and toddler group – anywhere you like, and ask them to make a donation for the coffee they drink and the cake they eat. What could be easier?

Your pack will include balloons, collection boxes, stickers, and a chance to win a shopping spree at John Lewis!

Why not use the coffee morning as chance to sell your handmade cards and goodies and donate a % to Macmillan Cancer Support!
